What to do if you need to make a claim?

Firstly do not delay in reporting a claim to either ourselves or your insurers. It is a policy condition that all claims are reported promptly. Failure to report a claim promptly may result in your Insurers repudiating your claim.

Motor Claims (including Taxis)

For all motor claims please contact  Carpol Insurance on 01276 581077 in the first instance .Outside of normal office hours, please refer to your policy book for claims information and procedures. 

 
 

Household / Landlords / Property Owners Claims

 For all landlords and property owners claims please contact Carpol Insurance on
01276 581077  in the first instance and further details and assistance will be provided on making a claim. Outside of normal office hours, please refer to your policy book for claims information and procedures. 

 

Travel Claims

If you have a policy with Voyager Insurance:-

In the event of illness or injury during your trip which will require hospitalisation, you must notify ONE Assist Ltd - Tel: +44 (0) 2920 468 794 or refer to your policy book for claims information and procedure.

In all instances please have your certificate number to hand and have ready any documents you may have that could be relevant to your claim. 
 
If you have a policy with Tokio Marine Europe Insurance Limited:-

24 Hour Emergency Assistance Service (You must quote Marsh LCP) Tel: +44 (0) 20 7902 7405 - When contacting the Assistance Company please advise them that You are insured under scheme reference Marsh LCP and quote the policy number stated in the policy certificate.

For claims other than for Legal Expenses & Financial Failure you must contact Insurance Administration Services Ltd on 0845 812 3441.
 

Business / Liability & Professional Indemnity Claims

For all business / liability / professional indemnity claims please contact Carpol Insurance on 01276 581077 in the first instance and further details and assistance will be provided on making a claim. INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING A CLAIM.

1. Claims for buildings and property capable of being repaired must be supported by two Tradesmen’s estimates obtained at the policyholder’s own expense. Emergency repairs to prevent further damage may be carried out immediately.

2. Damaged property should not be disposed of until the Insurer has given permission, or the claim has been settled.

3. Breakage of Glass – if replacement cannot be immediately arranged, boarding up should be carried out to prevent further damage

DO NOT COMMENCE REPAIRS (OTHER THAN EMERGENCY REPAIRS) WITHOUT INSURERS PRIOR APPROVAL – FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS CONDITION MAY RESULT IN YOUR CLAIM BEING DECLINED
